Went for material choosing this afternoon.

Unfortunately, only managed to take 1 pic of my common bathroom tiles. Was too excited to snap pics of the rest.

Initially chose red/ white at contractor's office but changed my mind at SBH.

Had a hard time deciding on kitchen colours as the husband and I couldn't compromise. At last, we chose white cabinets with black solid top and yellow glass backing. Reno co doesn't provide 3D drawings so quite difficult to visualize.

Master bedroom wardrobe - Black and white

Master toilet - Black and white

Still awaiting reno permit and it's taking a really long time. 1 week has passed.

Went to Jalan Besar today to survey bathroom accessories. Shortlisted these items from Poh Joo. Any idea whether I can get a better price for something similar? Hoe Kee and GR Link were closed. Maybe going down to Heritage on weekend. Saw some pics from other t-blogs and prices were better.

Basin for both common and mbr bathrooms. Not doing vanity top at mbr bathroom cos of the change in bathroom door location.

For both common and mbr bathrooms as well. I think the mbr and common bathrooms will have the same accessories. The only difference is in the wall colour.

Shower mixer

Kitchen sink. Something that looks like the one from my old place. Cost $287.

Thanks. I think I will go down to Heritage and GR Link before buying. Saw Bellari down the road but think if I go on, I will burst my budget.

Hi preciousjam, mine's in Fajar. Not so new. 11 years old. Paid 395k +15k cov. Quite a good price compared to the prices now *faints*

My old house is in the newer part of Ring Road. My mom's living nearby that's why we still wanna stick around here.

Yeah I went to view those in Senja and Segar as well. Looks like normal 5room flats lei the EAs. Bangkit is a good location, so nearby market. We saw 1 that we like in Gangsa. Super big at 151sqm. But asking for cov 30k and above. Overbudget. And needs major overhaul too.

To all those who did hacking and all, how long did it take for your permit to be approved? My permit has yet to be fully approved, still have 2 items pending and I think it is really taking a long time.
