Ve_ve 0 Report post Posted January 22, 2010 Thanks for your advice. I do agree with what u said. ID always think of business only. Your switches got no back case ? I am not sure if ur is an Old hdb with expose back boxes.. I was told by my electrician they are very cheap "the white/huge box" only 30 cent or so .. if i dun remember wrongly he installed those for me free. My electrician was intro by one of the forummer here " one lao jiao" My id said his electrician very cheap already and so on but still i could get a cheaper one else where .. so pls find second or third opinion if you find his EX. ricanne 0 Report post Posted January 23, 2010 Sry to mr and mrs SGBuzz for flooding the blog with other stuff :) :) nah . . .it's all right. . . so long as everyone gets to find out whats the best course of action. Thanks ve_ve for empathising My MBR wardrobe and settee are in!! So pretty . . . The settee feels very good when i sit on it. Maybe if i am angry, I can send Mr Buzz there to sleep for the night and not feel guilty about it. Painting completed yesterday. Plumbing continued, but we had to change 2 of our WCs. There are no gaps between the bowl and the wall, and the piping will run haywire if we keep to the WC. So, we'll change.. . . Next week, we are looking at: Monday - laminate flooring - invisible grilles installation Tuesday / Wednesday - kitchen cabinets - study room table - living room settee *fingers crossed*

ninja3101 0 Report post Posted January 26, 2010 (edited) Hi Ricanne Has OpenNet came to your house to install the Fibre Optic Point ? The point was install before or after the L-Box ? I waited for them to install the point before my L-Box goes up. So they came today , the guy told me they do not do trunking and lay cables at Ceiling Level in the L-Box. I just wonder if it is true ? So he just left terminate the point and leave the excess fibre cable near the door access wall. He said my electrician will know what to do. How did they install the fibre optic point to your new house ? Edited January 26, 2010 by ninja3101

We do not have the keys to the letterbox, so not sure what is it about. Hows your reno going on?
SGBuzz 0 Report post Posted January 28, 2010 The invisible grilles have been installed! Check this out. Balcony Living Room I am very happy with the effect but not so on the quality of the workmanships. If you are going to sandwich steel wires between 2 pieces of metal i would think you cut a channel in the metal pieces so that the both the metal pieces can close together with no gaps. Hiaz....
