ricanne 0 Report post Posted January 18, 2010 oic.haha. Time to work hard & smart on the reno progress. Thanks for the info, the Renohub website is well design. Wow u have smart eyes to spot a invoice from Choo Chiang. LOL. I just receive a call from my ID regarding tmr and tue appt with him. I told him if his electrician quote too ex. I will buy myself but he said don worry will be reasonable price. Becos he wants me to intro my friends to him for reno. yaya. I will see how. Just to take note the single and double sockets they are going to install in your house will the two screws be seen ? Unless u & SGbuzz don mind. Becos my current house got it and the screws rust don look nice better to hide it. thanks Ninja for the visible screw thingy. if i do not recall wrongly, it's the normal sockets. So, the screws shld be visible. however, i'd rather just paint clear nail-polish over them to insulate them from water / rust instead of spending $ to change the plates. however, Buzz might have a different idea

ninja3101 0 Report post Posted January 19, 2010 (edited) hi Ninja I think we have been chopped already. Our quote came with a 'rewiring of whole unit (as per floor plan)', costing 'est. $4055'. I am not sure what the floor plan is. Comparatively, I think you got a better deal. Hi Mrs Buzz This is the initial quote for electric works Re-Wiring for whole house 1)26 nos of Lighting points 2)8 nos of 13A single power points 3)12 nos of 13A double power points 4) 5 nos of scv points 5) 5 nos of tel points 6) 1 no of 15A air-con point 7) 1 no of 15A heater point 8) 1 no of mcb 9) Labour to install light Total = $2950 Top up quote Lighting points - 17 @ $476 Double Powerpoint - 13 @ $715 Additonal Heater point at MBR - $85 LAN Points (Cat6 cable provide by me) - $180 Upgraded to Clipsal C-Vivace - $280 (fixed price , no matter how many switches and power sockets) MCB Upgrade = $50 Labour to install additional lights = $120 Total to top up = $1946 Total to pay for electric works = $4896 So now mine is more ex than yours. u all had not been chopped I told u earlier on. Now yours is a better ideal ? haha Edited January 19, 2010 by ninja3101
