reddie 0 Report post Posted November 15, 2009 Hello, I need some help, I painted my wall with Nippon Paint Vinilex 5000 Galaxy but after a month, the wall has a lot of white patches on it. I use water to clean them and they will come back again. Is this called chalking? I tried applying one more coating over it but still the same. Anyone have this problem b4? How to solve it? Need to use chemical to wash b4 painting? Picture of the defect... Thanks in advance reddie

limlim 0 Report post Posted November 17, 2009 that problem is actually due to moisture and the poor quality of paint. u need to use an oil nased sealer to paint then use the galazy. I had the same problem too cause the worker i employed went to paint on the plaster before it even dried, then when the paint dried, that thing happened. so dun worry, just buy an oil base sealer and ask him to paint first. let it dry for a day or 2, touch and make sure that there is no problem. then use the galazy again. sure no more problems. is definitely not heavy water stains, if not will have one botch one botch, like a bubble. is just wrong painting method.
