berry_surprise 0 Report post Posted January 17, 2011 very interesting idea! Did you get the top bed platform custom built by your contractor? The stairway is coming up? Can platform withstand the stress by the stolman system's poles? oh the outer white frame is actually made of metal drilled to the wall and can withstand up to 350kilos. the stoleman is just fixed to the bed base which is made of wood. i will be covering it up with partition and a sliding door to hide my stuffs which are supposed to be in storeroom. the stairs will come after cny. stay tuned! RimBlock 0 Report post Posted January 26, 2011 more pictures on my mezza9 Very nice and a smart use of the space..... expand upwards as is common in New York where space is also at a premium. I was going to ask if you had a ladder, steps or even a trampoline to get to the bed but then I saw this........ the door and ladder will come later. Must have been distracted by the pictures RB
