bluewater 0 Report post Posted January 13, 2010 Day 59 Same team from Gain City arrived this morning for the 2nd installation. Nothing went wrong & was both surprised and glad that they gave me a higher btu- 13k, instead of 10k btu, for all my bedrooms. Living remains at 26k btu. Tested all units for 2 hours & all seem running good and cooling. I had chosen Mitsubishi Electric and the outdoor unit was really quiet. Virtually no sound at all when I tried to lean closely to the compressor, mounted just outside my master bedroom. Fittings for the toilets are installed today. Finally, got to see my HG acc. assembled up. Will post pics once toilets are in cleaner & better shape
CJREDDEVIL 0 Report post Posted January 13, 2010 Sigh bro .... Guess gotta disappoint you as HO won't be so soon. Already told Edmund during the initial stage that we are fine as long as HO before CNY. We also don't wish to rush him & ended up compromising the QC. Anyway, the carpenters are currently working on my carpentry stuff @ their factory. So, will only move over to my place for assembly once the woodworks are more or less there. By then, I believe the progress should be quite substantial as compared to now. Over this period, I got to know Edmund more & he is a man of his words (till date ); so, fingers crossed that he keeps to this impression in us I'm so envious of you with your super chop chop transformation. Fast=less headache Guess your family must be dolling up your place for coming CNY soon hur hey blue.... yup, now still doing the "make-up"....especially those decision of hanging of painting/morrors....must really think n think properly...dun want to regret later.... KSJL 0 Report post Posted January 22, 2010 Hi Blue, really appreciate you recommend me to Edmund to do my unit@ Pinnacle! I may want him to do this chrome for my swing door too - does chrome looks better than silver? Would Chrome rust?
bluewater 0 Report post Posted January 22, 2010 (edited) Hi Blue, really appreciate you recommend me to Edmund to do my unit@ Pinnacle! I may want him to do this chrome for my swing door too - does chrome looks better than silver? Would Chrome rust? No worries, take some pics & start posting your own T-Blog with Edmund ya Since I've seen both silver & chrome, I personally prefer chrome. Both will not rust. But since yours is swing door, your handle will be something similar to that of my master toilet door. The rounded handle is purely for sliding door application. KSJL 0 Report post Posted January 22, 2010 Hi Blue, I wont start my t-blog as I find it too tedious and no time for that. Yes, I am getting Edmund to do the round handle like my MBR toilet as previously he proposed to have those normal handle which I dont like. Guess we have the smiliar taste sometimes - afterall from the same blood ah....
bluewater 0 Report post Posted January 23, 2010 Day 69 Laminate flooring planks from "Krono-swiss" under Noblesse series arrived this morning. The package comes with foam silencer with aluminum backing. A big relief after looking at the woodgrain pattern on the exact mounting piece. Turns out to be our liking. Installation will begin on Monday.
