bluewater 0 Report post Posted December 22, 2009 The water pipes serving the kitchen and washrooms...what material are they made of these days? Mine is using stainless steel. I know some use copper. Only these 2 materials for water piping.
hcbing 0 Report post Posted December 22, 2009 Mine is using stainless steel. I know some use copper. Only these 2 materials for water piping. Thanks, bluewater. Yeah, I've heard of copper as well. Currently undecided which to choose from...I guess pricing would be the main factor haha. Good luck to your reno.
bluewater 0 Report post Posted December 22, 2009 Thanks, bluewater. Yeah, I've heard of copper as well. Currently undecided which to choose from...I guess pricing would be the main factor haha. Good luck to your reno. If you ask me, go for S/S. Both S/S & copper are suitable for its purpose & I definitely prefer S/S look. If pricing is a factor, I've heard copper pricing is on the rise as compared to S/S.

bluewater 0 Report post Posted December 22, 2009 blue....uhmm.....actually what happened to your bed rm 3? Sorli, I might have missed out reading about it... .... Cheers! It's with regards to the aircon trunking for my bedroom 3, which runs towards bedroom 2 in an awkward outlook. If I thought of how-to-do-it-better earlier, I will not see the aircon trunking at all by just doing a simple box up. Now I can't do box up the railway track anymore. Think next time I post pics will illustrate better. V.hard to describe.
bluewater 0 Report post Posted December 22, 2009 actually u can do back to back one, minimise the trunking! Yea I did back to back for mtr & bdrm 2. But bdrm 3 is a big headache (see my floor plan)!!! Anyway, everything has been cast on stone now. Bo bian liao.

bluewater 0 Report post Posted December 22, 2009 Yah, if back 2 back ....trunking need to cut thru the store ? Yeah spot on bro. GC advised me not to as trunking distance will be too long thus affecting efficiency of the aircon in bedroom 3. Condensation may set in over time too.
