joseeng 0 Report post Posted November 23, 2009 Day 5 & 6 Sand & cement has arrived. Met up Jason again yesterday and finally signed with him. Gave us a good price, whose quote was the lowest among the few we sourced out. Workmanship was told to be good, as my colleague had used him previously. Will give my reviews once all is done in due course. Next, we went over to LUSH @ Paya Lebar & their BENZ SC 3-seater immediately caught our attention. It's using full leather, and the soft feel is really good. Only trade off is we got to do monthly maintenance to leatherise it. Can't resist & finally settled for it, together with their Odyssey Chair. Very satisfied with our buy so far. Hopefully, delivery on site will have no hiccups. Wife will also be ordering the following items through her own contacts at discounted price Kitchen sink: Reginox range Kitchen/toilet mixer & shower column: Hansgrohe range Toilet WCs & Basins: Johnson Suisse range (Como, Monte Carlo, ....) where will you be buying the hangrohe range from?? bluewater 0 Report post Posted November 29, 2009 Went down to showroom on Sat & ordered the following: Hansgrohe mixers for toilet basin, kitchen sink & shower mixer. Rubine shower systems (decided on Rubine in the end cos' the price given to us was really too good to be true & Hansgrohe shower system is a bit too pricey from Rubine, though after discounted) Johnson Suisse range for both WCs & basins Either Ariston or Joven for our water heater tank cos' still deciding wE are simply pampered and in comfort zone for quite sometimes la. What to do... Have $ we will want honey & comfort no worries abt tat. understand your situation. hope you have a smooth reno ahead. Thanks bro
bluewater 0 Report post Posted December 3, 2009 (edited) Day 11-17 Minimum renovation works can be done during weekends cos' neighbours here complain to Edmund when they were working on a Sat morning. Living Room tiling: Been informed by Edmund that tiling will more or less be completed next week. Everything is going as per scheduled. As we are not in hurry to move in, Edmund informed us that he will be doing phase by phase at a systematic manner i.e. only 1 team working at a single time to ensure no 'over the shop' mess so as to minimise un-necessary damage to flooring, etc. So eager to see the whole tiling finished look now ... bluewater 0 Report post Posted December 3, 2009 (edited) Hi bluewater, welcome to holland estate. Looks like your reno is progressing well. Hope to see more pics of your new home coming into shape Hi Chipee, You stay in Holland area too? U got T-blog? Let me take a look at yours le. haha Yea, my reno so far so good. Went to site on Tues & today and happened to see Edmund there too. It's quite relieving for us, as owners, to see our appointed contractor being responsible & getting down to the site to spot check. I can't wait to post more pics of the aftermath... Stay tuned ok? Cos' I feel at times like I'm posting the updates for myself to see. Very few responses and comments. That's why decided to post at stages instead. Is this a norm for T-blog? hahaha Edited December 3, 2009 by bluewater
