mango 0 Report post Posted November 10, 2009 Want to lay laminate in one of my bedroom. Anyone got experience to share? The existing flooring is parquet but over 20 years old. Think the process goes like that 1) hack off the skirting, not hacking off the existing parquet as it is too much work and the floor level in the room is lower than that in the living room so can add on a layer. 2) Lay the insulation sheet and laminate planks. 3) Glue the skirting which helps to hold down the laminiate planks.
