Storage Water Heater Advice

Hi guys.

I'm on a lookout for Electric Storage Water Heaters since my Ariston started leaking.

Wanted to get a new Ariston heater becuz the previous one lasted about 10 years.

However I've been to diff shops and was recommended diff brands of Water Heaters.

Eg. Rheem, LA, Joven, Alpha, Rega etc.

Was told that Ariston isn't as good as before.

Looking for a 30L tank which is most imptly cost-saving & durable.

Heating and insulation should not be compromised too.

Budget below $300

Wondering if u guys out there have any advice on this?

I'm using 30L Rheem for the last 6 yrs for 2 toilets & 1 kitchen.

Furthest distance is 15m. Have no problem with it.

Very hot after 15 min.

Yup Rheem is pretty good, I have bad experience with Ariston... just my opinion

I read somewhere in the forum Joven is a good brand for storage heater. Any one could share with me the price? I am thinking of getting a storage heater for my new pace. 2 bathroom + 1 kitchen.

How big/capacity do i need for them?

i bot a Joven 25l with energy saving for $255 at Royal Fanco (Jalan Besar)..you can call Henry , I believe he can advise you.

Confirm Joven. I'm was quoted 240 for 25L and 35L for 280 at some places.

End up buying the 35L @ 240 at the place my contractor recomended.

$240 sounds like a gd deal. Has anyone tried Amasco storage heater? Heard that it's made in M'sia, just like Joven.

wow. $240 for 35L is very good deal! i got mine at $240 for the 25L one (same Joven brand).

Maybe i bought a lot of stuff from him, that's why he gave me this price.

At first he quoted 240 for the 25L , I counter offer him if same price for the 35L I'll take without consideration. He took about 5mins and some calculations before he can confirm the deal. So I presume it's a goodwill offer since I bought ard 2K+ worth of items from him.

You can try and see if he can give you special offer, I'll PM you his place.
