MTlot 0 Report post Posted November 9, 2009 Need some advise on the above situation. Before reno did not notice due to white walls with white caramic tiles and furthermore it's boxed up by previous owner. Now that I've decided with the natural look, I've notice water seepage mark and worried about the cabinet that I'm going to install. :help: kitchen MBR also have but not too obvious. Anyone can advise??? :help:
merryman 0 Report post Posted November 9, 2009 contact HDB and ask them to look into it... get them to fix your neighbors' leakage... and hopefully you can do ur ceilings last so that the HDB has time to react to the leakage...

Just asking coz this is my 1st home, HDB settle or the neighbour above settle this leaking problem?? Can't do my ceiling last, coz last week just finish plastering the whole unit. Can consider 80% finish, and now leaking problem.

SolutionProvider 0 Report post Posted November 14, 2009 U can try using DAmpSealer 5000 to apply onto the ceiling, I have try out before and very effective. I applied 3 coats onto the ceiling and few days later I paint the ceiling and I didn't see any damp mark appearing. But make sure the ceiling is bare cement.
