ed7000 0 Report post Posted November 13, 2009 I am using them for my reno. Quotation wise competitive non negotiable. On timing and team, you will need to coordinate closely with the team that is sent to your place on the morning of the job. So far, they have been prompt on site for survey and pipings. Had fix pipes and wiring. A/C blower still not yet as the rest of reno has not yet been completed. . Shall be fixing the blowers next week.

Mine is a little more complex as hacking needed to conceal pipes required. Costs is higher as 2 compressors to 4 units. So cannot compare. I think Starmex is a little higher than Toshiba. You may want to check out other retailers to compare prices. But take note of the insulation they used which has some bearing to costs. I am using 3/4" thickness insulation, instead of 1/2" due to the concealed pipes.

Too late to see your reply. Lucky for me is that they did test after installation and left it for a few days for me to be free to do an acceptance and final payment. Identified a faulty connection for gas on the day of acceptance and they resolved it before I came back.
