Met up with Jael. Just kinda of disappointed with her considering her experience and the gd feedback here. We got the feeling that she didn't put effort in thinking through the design and just doesn't seem to show interest in the job. What makes matters worse was her high charges...which doesn't seem negotiable. So guess she's out of my list.

I too engaged TAIMS for my house at sergangoon road and so far, no major hiccups and i am very pleased with the end results. the qoutation i received is also within the reasonabe side and very prompt response from Jael whenever i hv some questions.

oh, hazelk, you dont hv to pop by the showroom, when i first met up with jael, we actually met up at a coffee house near my place (since my husband and i are always so busy) to have a chat about our ideas of the house and such. most IDs will travel to location afterall, we are paying for their services.

hi i was reading thru all post and sorry to say i strongly DUN agree with this post.

Reason = only if we sign up with them then we can say we are paying for their services.

able to travel out to meet us only means that they have very good services and its something we have to

respect. not all ids willing to travel around just to meet us and not knowing if we will agreed and sign.

a big plus point for her.

to give jael the credit, she came across as being sincere even in our second meeting because she provided us with 3d drawings (first meet-up was to discuss on what's the style we wanted and other requirements) when alot of other IDs dont, the most you will get is a quotation and layout. That, to me is already putting in alot of effort. Design-wise, i seriously think tt it takes more than a meeting or so to determine if a person is making "effort"

I am in IT industry so i know the amount of effort it takes to generate 1 drawing....so i think i have to give credit to Jael for her efforts and like what lucia mentioned, she travelling to meet up with us at suitable location when she's free to do so. I think we have to be fair towards IDs too, their willingness to travel and producing 3d drawings is a BIG BONUS, esp when we cant confirm on the deal.

If anyone is considering Haier Living as per the initial discussion above, think twice or maybe even three times. Few of us have experienced the same thing. We can't be wrong.
