Cheers, I didnt engage them...They came to my hse last sat to quote my study rm only..N it cost $4770. My hb spent about 1hr+ trying to tell them what he wants..but they always cant catch the idea...even though we draw n show him the pictures We wanted to have a bookshelves with some display...then they kept drawing a wardrobe... We said we wanted to put book n displays...then he said inside can have more shelvings.... When hb said we wanted to have a see through glass, they say we can ve a sand blast glass for the wardrobe door. My hb has to keep saying he doesnt need a wardrobe...After quite sometime, the carpenter drew a design like a kitchen cabinet...saying top can put books, bottom cabinet can put books n toys..then the top can put the display.. Finally I took over n tell them to just COPY the design that I want...N the quote comes up to $4770 Most probably I won't engage him... think he maybe able to do nice kitchen cabinet (as I received feedbacks from the forummers who PMs me) but he can't get the idea that we want..even though my hb already draw a nice design for him, top view, 3D view.
