armypig 0 Report post Posted November 2, 2009 Hello, After viewing several units, our agent brought us to a unit that both of us like the moment when stepped into. Our agent was very surprised that we like it!! Immediately, we paid the deposit and affirmed the OTP. The ex-owners were very kind. Seeing us being a young couple, they did not insist for a COV and left some furnishings for us. They even cleaned the unit before handing the keys to us. We are very thankful to them. We had a tight budget for our renovation but we knew the entire unit had to be overhauled. After meeting many IDs/ contractors, numerous reviews and discussions, we decided to engage the services of Defong Interior Design to renovate our home. The ID understands our needs and is able to put things into perspective. We hope that he could enable us to have a home which is practical yet having simple elegance. Renovation started today, along the way, hope everyone can share their experiences with us. Thanks!

armypig 0 Report post Posted November 3, 2009 Congratulations! Hope to see more pics!! Will be taking pictures of the process. Hope everything will turn out fine. Spam chop. Will you be knocking down the balcony, if yes the hall will be super big. We are not leveling the balcony as we wanted a separate zone to relax and for the pets. Observed that the wall seems to be foundation for the block. Agree that we would have a big hall if we are doing away with the separated balcony. Congrates on ur new home! Good squarish layout. Thank You. It will easier for us to furnish. Hihi Armypig, Welcome!! And congrats on the start of your reno yesterday. Hope your reno goes smoothly throughout~! Appreciate your well-wishes.
