Our other lightings:

We uses the 1st square light (from the left) for our common toilet, the 1st round light (not lighted one) for our master toilet

For all our 3 bedrooms, we uses the normal round lights (slightly bigger then the one in the middle)

This is for our service balcony

And this for our dining area

These hand-folded sculptural pendant shades were designed by architect Poul Christiansen between 1969 and 1978 and have been in continuous production by the Danish company Le Klint. The material is a color-stabilized white PVC which is completely washable and anti-static. Le Klint pendants are enjoying renewed popularity along with other design icons of the 1960's. All pendants include 5 feet of white cord.

Hi, we bought our lights from Lightcraft, so I think the price might be a little more ex.

The LED for the living room (the big one) cost ard $181 each. And each of them need a driver that cost $43. The casting for 2 LED cost $60.50

The LED for the balcony (the smaller one) cost $130.84 each.

I'm sure there are other places selling LED. Think even Sim Lim will hv, but might hv to hunt for them specifically. I remembered Seashell uses LED too, and she bought it directly from China, so it will definitely be cheaper. You can check with her for contact

I dont mean anything but these days, most lighting shops are not selling the original ones - hard to sell. A lot of designer reproduction made in China. And the only way to tell is the price.

Hi Simon, ya, think it's designer light lah... but don't think we got the 'original' one lah... hahahahah

We were using this same pendant lamp 10yrs ago and we really like it... but we broke it sometime in the 6th yr when my hubby was trying to wash it.

Been searching ard for the same one but in vain. The one that is mostly sold outside is the smaller version. So we are very glad to find this same lamp in one of the shop along Jln Besar. We paid $256 for it

Just 2 days ago, they install the wood flooring...

BUT... if you realised, there is one part that is very dark... Yes, chances is they are going to redo that part of the floor...

Update:

They came and changed certain portion of the wood at the balcony

And now, it looks alot better

The small round one cost ard $60, the cube one cost ard $110

Think they mentioned they hv 2 other shops along Balestier Road, can't remember the name of the shop thot, give them a call lah.

Regarding bi-fold doors, I have installed the normal ones (quoted: $180) & recently in my opinion, a better & more sturdy one (quoted: $260), prices incl dismantling of old folding door & installation of new door.

The normal door's top roller was made of plastic & the door can be removed from the frame if enough strength is applied to force it out. The more expensive one, however, has a top roller made of metal and was not easy for it slip out of the track. I did not want the lower track initially as my father is not so mobile and it could pose a danger when he enters the toilet. Also, since he needed the door as a support when entering the toilet, I need one that is strong enough when weight is applied. So, I went for the more sturdy $260 one & have a lower track but it was moved to the edge to provide enough space for the feet.

I don't have a pic but I do not see 3 hinges on the outside of the door (mine is a 4-panel like worldangel's), it is just one smooth piece of material down in the middle. I am happy with the workmanship & quality of the door so far.
