dmay 0 Report post Posted February 6, 2010 where did you get the semi recess sink? seems that it just fits the space very nicely We got our sink from 2 diff places, one @ Jln Besar & the other along Geylang, don't hv the receipts with me now, so can't give you the actual address... will go dig dig... The reason why we got semi-recess sink was cos our sink area quite narrow, not easy to find a nice sink for it to sit on, so this kind of semi-recess sink comes in useful. Not alot of shops carry this kind of sink and their designs are also very limited...

dmay 0 Report post Posted February 6, 2010 yup will intend to get a semi recess for my common toilet... We got them from this 2 places: 1) Poh Seng Hardware - 153 Jalan Besar - nothing on display if I didn't remember wrongly, we casually ask while choosing our WC and so happen they have it in catalogue and is cheaper then other places. Think most shop will sell them, but not display out, so just ask. 2) Bacera Pte Ltd - 714 Geylang Road Lor 44 - they have a very big range of basin on their 2nd level. Semi-recess kind I think got abt 5 only thot... Looking forward to your completed pix

Are you asking abt the kitchen surface or toilet? Keke... Kitchen is quartz from Silestone and the toilet Corian. Wld recommend quartz cos it's more resistant to scratches, so if you are looking for solid surface for kitchen, think quartz is good. The only minus point is that there will be join line if your kitchen is L-shaped. Think there are 2 other companies out there that has quartz surface, Corian & Caesarstone. As for the induction hob, our's from De Dietrich

dmay 0 Report post Posted February 7, 2010 I'm considering Teka or Bosch induction hob. How's your De Dietrich induction hob? Where did you buy it? We got our induction hob from Rina Electrical @ Shaw Centre. Go take a look there, quite a good range of pdts. They carry Bosch too, but don't remember seeing Teka. Teka's induction hob was full glass edge with no metal trimming, and so happen when we were at Teka's showroom, we saw a chipped glass on the induction hob, so... After that we were almost decided on Bosch. We went Rina and like the hob & gas stove, but hubby not very decided on their oven & steam oven. Then we saw De Dietrich, and my hubby was bought over immediately He fell in love with the 'zoneless' induction hob and so.... that's how we decide on our appliances. BTW, if you are getting Bosch, you can also try Harvey Norman @ Millenia Walk
