aerial77_00 0 Report post Posted October 23, 2009 Hi all, We are in the midst of discussing the final quotation of renovation works with our ID. 2 of our bedrooms does not come with tv points and we wishes to hv both bedrooms to be equipped with normal tv points as we do not wish to install any SCV box in the rooms, strictly for local programmes. We enquired our ID if they can install a normal tv output to each bedrooms but she mentioned now they only install SCV points which costs us $100 per point. We thought by installing normal tv point will be cheaper as compared to SCV points. Wonder if our ID is trying to pull a fast one with us, any advice ? BTW does Mio cable set top box require an additional SCV point or we can use the original point that was initially meant for SCV ?
