How Would You Decor With This Floor Plan?

Hi RT,

I am trying to get some ideas on how would you decor based on this floor plan?

The unit is still in construction but would like to hear some ideas before sharing it with IDs ...

Hi,

as hubby is very particular with fengshui - I am being "forced" to read up fengshui books to make reno plans due to his busy worklife.

so a bit sensitive on fengshui aspect.:

read from the books that with room doors facing each other directly will cause conflicts bet the occupants of these rooms.

one of the remedies is to change the orientation of the door if possible, if not to place plants along hallway or hang "noren" at door.

is there a window by the end of the hallway?

I might extend one of the rooms out to include the hallway

just a personal preference

At the end of the hallway is another door which access to the open terrace and swimming pool

With such a big house...if I were you, I will not be too worry of how to design...just let your I.D play around with his ideas and give you a few proposals. This is supposed to be their profession.

I don't think you will engage a contractor to do the renovation, right?

The I.D will then help you to manage the whole project...only thing is to have the CASH

Maybe just set aside a realistics budget...

It is taking forever for the developer to build it.

No I didnt get it coz this unit is out of budget.. I got a smaller unit from the same developer earlier at Lor N

Initially I wanted to get The Lucent but was told sold out ... and was offered The Verte since they left with 3 units including a townhouse ...

Have you moved in to The Lucent?

I wonder how is the workmanship of this developer.

Sorry that I didn't explain clearly previously - Noren is the jap door curtain.
