SamTheMan 7 Report post Posted October 19, 2009 with negative ions. are the bed good for health? I have had sound sleep for the last 37 years without negative ions. Should not be a major consideration. You should look at Comfort and Support.

SamTheMan 7 Report post Posted October 19, 2009 which brand is good for comfort? my budget is 2-3k thanks Piper, You budget is generous, the top brands are as follows: Sealy, Simmons, Serta and Tempur. Actually anything from Sealy and Simmons should be fine. Sealy mattresses are usually plusher because of their patented spring system and Simmons are usually firmer because pocket coil mattress have to be firm to prevent sagging. It really boils down to your preference for comfort. FYI, Capella on Sentosa uses Sealy mattresses.

You should go somewhere you can try and compare the feeling. Tangs at Vivocity has Simmons and Sealy side by side, you can try them out there.
