Need to get a pendant light for the area.

If u use white paint, I don't think u can replicate the kind of mood created in the picture.

But in any case, I would choose A. It looks more interesting than B (from Ikea?).

This is actually the feel I wanna achieve for my living room. Hence, I will select the appropriate wall paper to achieve that design for the TV feature cabinets.

IMHO: Yes, this one looks more artistic and nicer.

Maintenance wise, this one will be easier to clean.

And seem like more "durable"

Am glad that we are finally starting our renovation works TODAY since our key collection on 15 Jan 2010!

Apparently, hacking has began this morning and it's getting me EXCITED again!!

HAPPY!!!

P/S: I pity the bangladesh worker bringing debris down and materials up to and fro via the stairs! poor thing . . . . . .

Looks like Uncle Poh and Uncle Bee Seng are really busy, esp. Uncle Bee Seng who never got back to me. Uncle Poh says he will come down to look at the floor plan since your place is so near to mine. Hope he can make a trip during your hacking period. Keep my fingers crossed.

Buying an unit with a lot of boxed-up isn't really that good if you intend to do renovation - my current unit has a lot of false ceiling done.

Hacking one place will affect the other.

The false ceiling of my kitchen fell off during hacking.

Will be meeting contractor later to see how we can best do up the place with minimal cost - though we all have anticipated this problem.

Well, like the after-hacking feel & energy of the house!
