Main Contractor's remaining work:

1. Electrical works for kitchen due to delay from carpenter in providing layout design

2. Touch up on ceiling works - s/d be done by today

3. Sanding & staining of 2nd level parquet to a darker colour! YEAH! YEAH! - s/d be done by tomorrow

4. installation of glass panels & doors for MBR toilet - separating WC & shower (2 individual space to be created)

5. Painting Jobs

6. General washing

Carpentry works:

1. Foyer - 2 paintings of buddha to be installed (with metal wire/rope) near front door (as shield) refraining pple fr direct viewing into our unit without blocking lights & ventilation

2. Utility Room Cabinets

3. Kitchen Cabinets

4. Dining Cabinets - centre modified to TV console

5. TV feature wall

6. Mirror wall in living room

7. box up of pipes and flushed wall in living area

8. construct door to living room

9. construct see-thru roofing at opening from stairs overlooking living room

10. MBR wardrobe modofication - change previous work space in wardrobe to wardrobe space

Should be able to meet HO bah!

I have not even buy anything for living & dining area

I am thinking of hack wall also (subject to approval of HDB).

Where's your area?

Not many EM owners have the same floorplan as ours - with an "U" stairs!

The 1st level wash area can be hacked - not in black as per my original floorplan.

It was already hacked by previous owner

Other than my unit, my 2 new neighbours' units hv theirs hacked too!

I know there are a lot of diff configuration in sunset way itself.

basically, the previous owner hacked the wash area, sealed the original kitchen entrance, recreated 2 entry points into the kitchen.

so when is your 1st appointment?

mine is in avenue 6. passed 1st appointment already, now wait for 2nd one. target renovation in august and move in sep. (after ghost month). Am I near to sunset? walking distance? hear a lots of good restaurant there..

it is good to hack wall of washing area. But I may build a new toilet in washing area ground floor. Therefore, still wondering how to arrange wall and door at he intersection area between toilet, kitchen and living room.

I found you removed laundry area installed on wall of balcony. where is your laundry area now?

one more thing is currently, rubbish bin is in kitchen. I don't like this. thinking of blocking it permanently and throw rubbish outside, heihei...

congrats! ave 6 is a nice area! we have wanted to find a nest there.

sunset way is along clementi road - in the direction towards ngee ann poly, it's about a 10-15 mins walk from clementi mrt.

ya! a lot of nice food! It's always very satisfying to eat in the little jap restaurant there!

ha... i do not hv a laundry area in the house. as much as I could, I will wash the clothes on a sunny day if not i will utilize the dryer.
