Let said, seller willing to let you do renovation after 1st appt. Which one will you choose? Is there a risk involve? I am not that hurry to move in yet. Pls help me by stating the pros and cons. Supersimon27 2 Report post Posted October 13, 2009 Actually I vote both The pro of after 1st appointment - U can move in faster - no need to rush - Basically more time Con is - If 2nd appt fail (due to some issue) yr renovation will be gone . U need to pay for renovation and the house still belong to the previous owner. The pro of after 2nd appointment - The house is yrs. no risk involve - No need to let previous owner sign anything.... Less troublesome Con is - U can only move in 4-6week after 2nd appointment as renovation usually takes that long So conclude, if got time can wait, wait .
