macbart 0 Report post Posted January 2, 2010 Yes, even when I went to Tangs to get my induction wok, the SA also told me heat distubute evenly very fast. Rondy, My mum have a 1 cooker induction, but difficult to control the heat cos heat up very fast. The model that macbart n me got, is the high end type which u can precise control with temperature. Like macbart mentioned : It's much easier to caramelise onions without burning them. I was very impressed with a video clip my wife found on the web... they even melted chocolate directly in a pot on an induction hob... without using the usual glass mixing bowl over a pot of water that's on the stove! Hi fish, U can get it fm Lightology, shop is opposite Lightings.com I went up new hse and spoted spider webs forming across the lights bulb already cos it was the open concept type. I would not recommend to install in the kitchen if u intend to do heavy cooking or frying. Edited January 3, 2010 by catseyes2004sg

With gas, the norm is to put a pot of water on the stove and place a glass bowl over the water (so the steam heats up the bowl) and let that heat melt the choc. But easier to clean if u remove the light bulb first. Light bulb easy to remove. I tried liao. The standard way to remove light bulb. I tell u heavy becos it is not easy for the electrician to install the light. Really hard-earned money for them to install that light for us. My installation for light is $11. Somemore shared by 2 ppl. Only $5.50 pp.
