CJREDDEVIL 0 Report post Posted October 23, 2009 Hihi, m considering the Samsung RS-20NRSV, its a side by side fridge...looks quite nice Anyone using this model or other Samsung fridges? Any problems encountered? Thanks very much! Hi, I have been using my Samsung RS-20RSV since year 2004 and never have major problems till now. Had only changed once for the thermo-sensor that cost me $30~. My mum is also using the same. Energy consumption wise is also excellent ( with 3 ticks !) Personally, I should say, go for it.......it's value for money(abt S$1,200 now ??) Cheers! ps: if ever needs repair(after warranty), do not call direct to the samsung-agent, it cost very much lesser with outside contractor(actually the same technician guy from that agent, sideline job),I can provide if u need the contact. swift 0 Report post Posted October 26, 2009 I've been using that for abt. 1/2 year. No problem encountered. Maybe its due to low usage? I'm only operating it at 1 out of the 5 'power setting' available. and its cool enough... Strange thing is... i bought mine for less than $800 during Courts clearance sales in April... Back then i din't think much abt the price... Then subsequently, seen the same model in some other electrical roadshows, however, the price has gone up to $1k. Was puzzled to see prices of eletrical goods appreciating? e.g. price of handphone / tv / etc... only drop If its selling at $799, i think its a good deal.... Can go for it... The price went up when there is no promotion . And come down when there is a promotion. But i think every week sure got 1 store having promotion for this model - either gain city / courts / harvey / Ah. I rem it clearly as I almost bought this model . However do take note that this model is make in thailand not korea . But they do give 2 yrs warranty compare to my samsung fridge taht is make in korea (only 1 yr)

swift 0 Report post Posted October 27, 2009 Now, to think abt it, i remembered i bought some extended warranty, that covers the 'contents' in the fridge, in the event if the fridge breaks down... Haha... i dunno how are they gonna qualify the extent of the damages, to make compensation, eventhough i don't think i wanna find out... (fridge spoil, then file for claim). CJREDDEVIL 0 Report post Posted November 12, 2009 I think it is still too early for me to get it as I will be collecting my keys end Dec Hi, it should not be a problem to delay the delivery date, Courts will accept it. I have just a a washer at special price promotion and requested the delivery date to be delayed abt 1mth+, they accepted it. Cheers!
