El Nino_Al Nito 0 Report post Posted January 29, 2010 Hi, So far I don't face such problem, frankly I am ready growing to like this TV more and more. No regrets... That day I was watching HD5- "ICE AGE" I was ready impress with the clear and sharp image....and the sound quality is really superb... Yet to try playing with Blue-ray player... thanks for the feedback danny... Simon, i think philips panel seems more heaty probably coz of the ambient lights they have.. but shd not be affecting the surroundings if you are in a big room.. have to admit, i find the ambient light easy on the eyes when watching in dark surroundings.. now contemplating between the 42pfl9664 and panasonic's G11 for my hall..
