They workmanship is very nice and my ID was very patient with our request.

You can see they office which is very nice done up.

My wife and I are very happy with our house.

Before this, we go to company like chew, Darwin, artrend, linewerkz, earth livng but they dont really meet our needs

Why u seem to post identical message throughout the forum?Love the design from the FB and happened to be our theme for our new house... so I send an email in Jan 2014 to your company if we can ask for quote or have a meetup for discussion; sadly I don't even get any respond to my email. Guess that had fail my first expectation of prompt reply.

In case you think im from another ID coy. Sadly I'm not; pure consumer in this forum.

I am an ID, I never thought finding an ID is tough, it is a competitive market ...i feel bad for the black sheeps out there spoiling the ID industry I am in.

greenbtl, sorry to say this forum are not meant for you, people here looking for Cheap & comparative ID service, you should advertise yourself in Interior design magazine and let your customer finding you. Really...not here.

Hello, a word of advice is to find an ID you an "click" with. Flow of communication is very important and the ID should be able to understand, accept and improvise on your vision for your home. You will have a good feel once you start to meet up with couple of IDs.

Just want to share my experience. Since my hubby and I do not have any artistic talents, we manage to find a freelance ID to design our place. We asked him to design our master bedroom, a study room and the living room only. He charged us less than 1K. He came to our place to take the measurements and helped with the selection of materials.

We then engage a contractor to do up our place. The contractor told us that actually they are pretty good with doing the all the carpentry since they do it on a daily basis. It's just that they can't put the ideas into design - that's why they are not designers! They did give some pretty good ideas as well. We wanted to put some beams with pebbles at the entrance but they highlight that it would rather dangerous since we have small kids. In fact, we saved quite a lot on our renovation since we went direct to the contractor.

From my personal experience, I think the deciding factor for choosing an ID is not the cost. Many ppl compare quotes and go with the cheapest option, but u never know if there might be additional top-ups along the way, or if the ID does not do a good job in managing the project.

Word of mouth is important, and definitely the ID's attention to details, their versatility, and how they integrate creativity with practicality.

ya agreed. for me workmanship and responsiveness are very important. after visiting many IDs, we decided to get a contractor in the end. because we already know the design we want and the contractor proved good workmanship in his current projects and very responsive. also, contractors are usually cheaper than IDs. IDs also get contractors to do, then charge with a mark up. I'm not saying IDs are not good, IDs is also a good option, especially for flat owners who dunno what design / layout they want.
