Platform Bedrooms Pics To Share..

Hi guys..

I'm new here.. and will be getting my keys in weeks !! my new flat is a 3room, located at tpy. hope you all can helps.. !

Can you kindly show me some pis of your platform bedrooms.. ? Which i wanna see the angles, what's the height, which side of the bedroom have you place / built the platforms ? Are there many different kinds/designs of platforms ? normal / curved... etc ?

Also, is it possible that i can ask my carpentry to build in so-called pull out drawers inside the platform ? and our king size matress will be on top. As i will scare the height of the platform is not that high... !

Try visiting Avanni @ Sungai Kadut. The exterior place look like OLD white castle but they are the main supplier for the platform bed.

Find Veronica , just says the couple with a baby from ERA recommended.

However, we are now looking for reno id / contractors to reno our 3-rm flat.. so i need ur advise.. that do u think that shld we get the contractor to quote togther with our others reno-items ?? or we shld go and check with the Avanni which u suggest one ??

And also, on top of this... i need your advice as well. on choosing n comparing or different reno ids.. how n where shld i looking into it about ?? as in can see that.. ed. A quoted cheaper than B for the doors.. then anther items eg. platform in MBR A quoted much higher than B.. etc.. then how shld i continue ?? the hardmanship ??

And do we or the hdb had a actual rules about how high / thickness can the platform be ? liked 6" ?? or lower / higher ?

Haha... as for the mattress / bed.. we have not go check or buy yet... becos my flat have not even started on any reno yet... saded... but we really looking forward much !!

HDB do not have rules on how high the platform can be...as long as it doesn't exceeded the 150kg/msq...its ok with them...

Some items A quoted cheaper than B some quoted higher, this was to make u hard to compare and most importantly, u won't want to be coordinating 2-3 contractors do different jobs. To really compare on different quotations, u must compare them on the final amount with the same items, dimension, design and material...of course, service, workmanship is unable to compare as u don't know at all.

It best to let the contractors quote together with the other reno stuffs as the platform bed u want should be custom made to fix in the height, length, width and design.

I advise you to explore and find whatever things you need and only leave those hard to do things tat requires hacking or building up example: a ware-robe or center console for the tv or kitchen cabinet to the contractor.

Diff contractor confirm quote you diff price, MUST see what they provide, laminating finishing or solid finishing or flush solid finishing. Unfortunately, you have to go thru at least 5 diff contractor and tell them what you want and get different quotation before you decide upon who you want to use.

As for me, I go for quality finishing that is why I am using this contractor Mr BK. His finishing and things are mostly quality stuff as he don't like to use cheapo stuff and ends up consumer regretted and curse his workmanship.

Quotation from him is slightly more expensive. If you have the budgets, just try him out and tell him your budgets so that he can work it out for you to suit your pocket. His contacts for aircon is cheaper & better price than those I find.
