If i hold back the 5% will they stop all work altogether? Before i make any decision, i will talk to the boss first. Update on my kitchen cabinet: I have talked to the boss, apparently they dun seem to be interested and willing to redo the cabinet. But they offer compensation by offering to do up a seperate cabinet in the kitchen for me. I requested for cash compensation (cos' i have lose confidence in them, not willing to ask them do more things) but they have not get back to me yet. I decided to move on, before i get more drained out more because of this kitchen cabinet issue. They will be in my blacklist. Update on my kitchen entrance glass door: Still not done!!!!! They came and take measurement, increase the width of the side partition wall. They also cut the partition (second time already) to see if there is wood support inside for holding the glass slide track). I am worried if the partition wall is still sturdy enuff to hold the weight of the glass - after they cut up the partion wall 2 times (they mend it back using plastering only). Was told today the workers will come to install the glass door, but never come. WTF. As of today, it has been 3 months plus already, including the CNY delays, house not handed over yet. Getting money from them seems very impossible. Offer to give free cabinet will not fix your door cabinet. I am sure money is not to much matter in this case. Ever thought to file report to CASE bro? Review on web archi (security) is one of the many things that we do. When u mention CASE, u rekindle the furious flame within me. The AM said even if i go to CASE, he will still win. But i dun think i will want to go to CASE because CASE very inefficient, after months of investigation and mediation, the result/compensation may not even worth me going thru the hassle of logging a case with CASE. If you really feels that they don't deserve last 5% I don't think you should pay them. Because i am sure they profit is more the 5%. They won't mind if you don't pay the 5% as they mention they willing to gift free cabinet for you. Just try to nego and see which one feels better for u. Anyway, keep posting your reno. Haha.. i will find a time to go Universal Studio. I am taking things slow now. I raised a few points/defects and 2 weeks already still no news. Nevermind. i keep the 5% first.... Kitchen view: Living Rm View: Box-up cutted to make way for the track, but the glass door installer also go and cut the track to make way for the box-up, dunno what they doing. One of the defect - or is this considered as a defect? Install dustbin also will crooked. They left out those 'difficult to reach' corners when plastering. Dunno careless or lazy.
