Quotation On Carpentary Works .. Expensive?

Hi all,

I have got quotation from suppliers recently and below is the price range from a few of them:

Supply & install L-shaped top & bottom kitchen cabinet : $90-$120/ft ( some provide free softclose, dishrack)

Supply & install solid surface top for L-shaped kitchen cabinet - $80/ft (depands on brand; LG brand should be on higher side)

Supply & construct L-shaped cement based for L-shaped kitchen cabinet - $200-300

Supply & construct cement based for washing machine and fridge area - $90ea

Supply & run piping for kitchen sink (sink & tap supply by owner) - $60-$90

Why is the kitchen prices so far apart at 90 to 120 in your case and I have got quotes from 120 to 200 per feet at singapore expo trade shows?

Normally, prices quoted @ Expo is quite expensive. The range was $90-120 depands; some from contractors & direct factory. Can see up the newspaper under classified. Some even have cheaper but not sure of quality. Heard recently the price of capentry going up..

I got it wrong,it should be $90/ft for granite and $110/ft for kitchen cabinet.

But I dont think it is inclusive of interior laminate, confirm no softclose - charge $5/soft close hinge

Anyone know the price for LG solid top??

I was quoted $140 per foot run for LG Hi Macs.

Can get cheaper ones like Marstone or Cresto at $80-90 but quality will be poorer...

My contractor is quite funny. He allows me to get quotation direct from carpenter.

I found 3 - 2 r intro from frens n 1 from my contractor. Actually their quotation is close but I wanna view workmanship b4 I decide who I engage, then I do up my place for the chosen one b4 I intro lor...

So far I got around 16k quote for using special white glossy 1.2mm laminate with internal colored PVC

1. 3meter tv console wif feature wall

2. 6 ft full height shoe cabinet with full mirror doors

3. 2 sets 8ft suspended study table wif drawers

4. 2sets 5ft full height sliding doors wardrobe

7. 17ft top n bottom kitchen cabinets

8. 1tall lader kitchen cabinet

9. 2 sets bathroom vanity cupboard

10. Relaminate my main door
