bstgal 0 Report post Posted September 24, 2009 hi all, my contractor asked me to furnish my ic and layout plan in order for him to apply for hdb permit, which will take 3 days to be effective. we are still in the midst of confirming the final quotation but if i ask him to go ahead with the permit application and in the event we do not choose to work with him, will there be any consequences? like will he sabotage our renovation if we cannot agree on the final quote? thanks for the advise Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
gohleong 0 Report post Posted September 24, 2009 I will advise you to confirm everything first as getting the permit is only 3 days. What I worry is that the HDB will not grant you a permit again since you have already gotten 1 and the validation of the permit is only a few days for the hacking and noisy renovation.
