Just one point: Will Algae grow easily over the lines between the mosiac tiles of the MBR toilets?

wywy219 0 Report post Posted November 15, 2009 Nice 3D pics . Hope the final product will be just as good. Just one point: Will Algae grow easily over the lines between the mosiac tiles of the MBR toilets? Hehe....it's not mosaic. It's tiles with "checked" effect. Anyway, the orientation of the MBR bathroom had to change. I am a bit disappointed but no choice. If we follow the original plan, the shower screen will block the window, hence the window can't be opened! so we cannot divide the shower area like that and have to do a ugly "box" for the shower area instead. sad
wywy219 0 Report post Posted November 15, 2009 Looking nice! But the kitchen wall can't be hacked right? We are keeping our finger crossed..... The PE had come down to inspect. Hopefully it will be approved! I am dying to have the kitchen like that....if not approve i will be very very very sad.......

If there is, most probably HDB will approve. Good luck!

For comfort, the two long sides (which are formed by the walls of your toilet should be at least 85cm long. The other 3 sides should be about 60cm each. This is how my present house's toilets are built and I intend to do the same for my new house as it looks quite nice. But one of my IDs says it is 3 times more expensive as compared to the straight shower screen. So it is up to you
wywy219 0 Report post Posted November 15, 2009 (edited) Some more updates: Over the past few weeks we have made many many trips to retailers to compare prices and have also made some purchases. 1) mattress and bedframe 2) sofa, dining table, coffee table 3) fridge, washer, water heaters 4) hob, hood and oven Things that we have viewed a few times but still pending: 1) air-con (probably getting from Gain City) 2) lightings 3) ceiling fans 4) bedside table 5) WC, basins, kitchen sink, taps etc Am happy that we are slowly getting there......buying things is such a pain when you have a tight budget! I think all the salesperson handling us are scared of us now.....haha Edited November 15, 2009 by wywy219

So it is up to you yes. we are changing the orientation to sth like tat. but not diamond shape. just a rectangular one, extending to the wc side. haven't talked in details with ID bcoz he's very busy that day but i think he say make square one then can still use frameless screen. And he didn't mention about extra cost wor....hopefully no extra charge?
