joseeng 0 Report post Posted November 20, 2009 Yippee! The Ceiling fans and Lightings are all up!! Bought relite petite ceiling fans for dining, living and two bedrooms. Downlights everywhere except for the yard. No more torch lights needed to view the house at night. Machiam liked discover fire liked that.. hehe.. Photos soon! Tomorrow the house will get cleaned up and polished. And by end of next week, fixing up the carpentry. Can't wait! great to hear your reno is going on smoothly. Just went up to have a look at the newly polished parquet floor. Problem is I practically ran out of the house. The place reeks of varnish smell so strong I had to take deep breathe at the lobby to rid the toxic fumes in my lungs!!! ARGH... anyone can advise how to get rid of the varnish smell??????HELP!!! I really hope can be on time too.. our friends already book our place for xmas party.. today supposed to finish (re) painting the walls and touch up before carpentry.. but to our disappointment.. the painter never came.. sigh..
