Hdb Versus Condo Reno

hi, i posted the other side but i think should post here. i want to reno my old 4 room condo to make it swee again. My frens told me condo is much more ex than hdb even for same work done! is this true? if so, anyone know why? and also what kind of % more isit usually?

i.e ideal house 4 room 10k package = ?? k 4 room condo package?

p.s anyone got good ID to recommend who has worked with old condos b4?
