wuga98 0 Report post Posted September 5, 2009 i saw some advert in the papers and some flyers on and off, anyone has use this for their timber deck instead of the more conventional hard wood like chengal/balau etc? I read they look like wood but am not sure if the feel is going to be plasticy and also heated more than natural wood. If you have experience using this alternative, pls share. Thanks

jdanielsg 0 Report post Posted September 21, 2009 ok thanks, pls share your exeprience and findings. Are you getting from polydeck composites pte ltd? polydeck.biz he can supply and install I am unsure about the product itself after some research i have noted that some people have mentioned kianson as a good brand the come in long 490cm by 13.5 cm board which they would be happy to cut down to size for easy transport do a google search it costs 150 and a piece and you need to find your own installer unless yours is a big project. I can most likely DIY my project but I need the right tools and buying tools for one project seems a bit stupid.. wish they had homehardware here..... *sigh* . I think I would need to hire a carpenter. Hire him for 1/2 a day or more probably and get the job done.
