How To Clean Stained Rainshower Head

Hi guys

I just bought a resale, about 7 yrs old. Would like to keep existing fittings intact if possible, so as not to overspend.

The rainshower head is made chrome, and it's covered with this tarnish that looks white in colour. You know, how some old taps and stainless steel products look like. No brown stains (rust), just this white-ish dirt.

How do I clean this? Any cleaning tips from you guys?

try soaking it in white vinegar for a while, then rinse it.
