ynove 0 Report post Posted September 1, 2009 Should I get basin cabinets made of wood/synthetic material? Most of the bathroom cabinets (below the basin) are made of wood, or some synthetic material. Thing is, in my fiance's previous home, he had basin cabinets that started rotting and smelling and warping after about 5-6 years because of the moisture in the bathroom. So now we're getting our own apartment, we're wondering whether we should get the normal wood or synthetic one (more affordable), or a stainless steel one. There are 'waterproof' materials for basin cabinets, right? Are they really waterproof?

ynove 0 Report post Posted September 2, 2009 Mostly myself lah. Perhaps once every two weeks, a helper might come by, but that's about it. So with normal moisture, what do you think about the material bathroom furniture should be made of? Depends whether house maintain by helper or yourself.
