Floor Plans

Recommended Posts

Hello.

I have a stupid question to ask. I have my floor plans for my new 4A room flat. The scale reads 1: 100. What do the numbers / dimensions on the floor plan mean? are they in sq foot or metre?

appreciate if someone could help my blur mind:)

if not wrong, normal floorplan from HDB is indicate in mm, u need a scale ruler for exact diamention measure on scale 1:100(mean 100x of the size) ** the scale ruler can buy at stationery shop ba.. but if ur math is good, u can also use the normal ruler n use calculator lo.. :)

1:100 means.. 1mm on the plan is equavalent to 100mm on the floor. 100mm is 10cm.

Then hor.. if u photocopy.. enlarge/rescale.. can be distorted.

They are all in mm, if you want to convert it to feet, this is the calculation: 1000mm divide by 305= 3.28ft
