Wah piang eh, I didn't know there was a HN sales at expo. You sure they gave you a brand new set and not showroom set? The best I've got was 2.3K after asking for the pass 8 months leow, normally I'll buy from neighborhood electrical store at Jurong west, you've heard of Kong tai?

i checked with them to make sure its not showroom/display set. if display set i ask for more discount :D . i wouldn't mind buying from neighborhood stores but getting the new house ready, no more cash liao. have to go for credit. :P i stay in the east, so i'm not too sure abt shops in the west

oh ya, i forgot. i got a quote from parisilk awhile back for $2,190 but for this price they only take cash.

Hi,

We just bought ours @ EXPO just now on 23rd oct... the MEGA sale by AUDIO HOUSE...

I guess nobody can believe it... not even my wife can believe. it... we were quoted $1999 for the washing machine but just by testing the market... we asked if $1800 we will grab it... TRUE enough... the saleman inform that @ $1850/- NO PROBLEM ~!

My wife & I were actually eyeing for the 2nd best which is the SHARP ES-HG100 @ $1799 (Best Denki) or $1600 (Hong Liang) as we know that the price for our 1st choice BD-105V2 is way too expensive...

.... but after today ... I think we had a GOOD steal ~!

Our final price....

BD-105V2 @ $1800 ... (Brand New)

Woooohoooo!!!!!

Wow Bro, Congrats man! what a way to make a great deal, its a whopping S$500 bucks cheaper from my first quote!! I guess must be competition among the manufacturer or perhaps a newer model on the way, what say you.

If you search the web for reviews on this Hitachi model, somehow it is difficult to find.

I suppose not many people have tried it?

Hi Bros,

I am considering getting a Hitachi washer model BD-105V2 (front load type), washer is a bit pricey but can see that the features are great, would appreciate some feedback (both + & -) from fellow forummer here who own it.

Cheers!

its base dimensions lok too small to be sturdy during spin, ive my doubts abt tis model

frnt load type nt famous for japan manufacture, get a european model

i've been using this model since last aug. it performs as my expectation so far.

clothes cleaned and dried when run in fuzzy mode (each laundry takes about 3 hours; 1 hour wash + 2 hours dry).

i guess each laundry costs less than running 1.5 hp air cond for similar duration.

i don't know how much water it consumed as i'm paying my condo minimum monthly water charges at RM6.

but from the user manual, it should use less water than top load model. i use it 5 to 8 times each month.

it runs quietly when wash but you will see it become a bit shaky when drying/pinning at high speed and of cause you will hear some noise like sound from tyre when driving on the road.

i suggest you leave your clothes in the drum around 10 to 15 min after drying completed (you will hear music coming out from the machine and it auto off the power) due to the clothes are still hot.

it will save your affort & time from ironing if you remove them from the drum while they are still warm.

don't let them stay in drum over 30 min or you will find crease.

i bought it coz i've limited space and i hate house work!

now i can get my clothes, bed sheets clean and ready within 4 hours :)

my wife loves it and i hope it can last at least 5 years.

Thanks Bro for your feedback.

I will seriously look into getting this model, however, I have space problem as my previous National 7Kg top load washer occupies a smaller area. Might not fit the new Hitachi.

2k for a washer is a lot!

The truth is that, You Get What You Pay For.

Most of my household items are Japan made, they are very lasting. Sometime, you really hope that they quickly spoil so that you can buy new one..HAHAHA.
