El Nino_Al Nito 0 Report post Posted February 2, 2010 guys, what abt this...seller wanted 1 month extension from us coz they doing contra and needed extra month to finalise the flat they buying. so, my 2nd appt is next week, i get the keys but they still stay there a month longer. does this count as illegal? there was some agreement i signed to acknowledge that we allowed them an extension... but so far since october their f*****d up agents still havent pass me my copy. now im concerned if they take their time in moving out after extension is up, i go police to 'remove' them from the house, their agent come and furnish the agreement... what'll happen next? YNWA, El Nino Hi, you said you have sign some agreement but till now never receive the copy from the agent. HDB know about it? If I were you, I will not sign the 2nd appt because after you sign, you are the owner and you will never get to see yr agent anymore. Before handing over flat the house must be empty. If I were you, I will not sign the 2nd appt because after you sign, you are the owner and you will never get to see yr agent anymore. Before handing over flat the house must be empty. Inform HDB officer during the 2nd appt. yoz...just got the extension form yesterday evening.. decided to liaise with the sellers direct since i had to do 2nd inspection myself.. my agent said its a private agreement so cant let hdb know coz initially thot of telling hdb to extend the 6 weeks to 10weeks after for 2nd appt to accomodate their extension.. no point go 2nd appt if cant get keys also right...haha anyways, the uncle and auntie are nice accomodating folks with a clean well-upkept house.. no issues with them just that i find their agents rather incompetent... just hope the sellers ensure the bills are fully paid in the extra month they stay there.. YNWA, El Nino I thought buyer still need to go down for 2nd appt even there is a private agreement? The PUB how? Did the seller cancel them? Or u will/had to apply for them during the 2nd appt?
