satinchris 0 Report post Posted August 26, 2009 Hi all, An ID has quoted us on curtain pelmet. What exactly is it, and is this necessary? It sounds like something ancient and no one is having it anymore. Thanks!

prodesign 0 Report post Posted August 29, 2009 Pelmets are used to cover the tracks , they are optional not an essential item. but i have a question. these days ppl still using the track system kind of curtains? coz i realised that ikea/spotlights are all selling button or velcro kind, which is really much more convenient.. so shld i change the track system to just a pole for the button or velcro kind ? please advise. Hi, I used the Ikea pole type in my old house but maybe due to my drilling is not deep enough or it cannot support the weight of the curtains, it will 'drop' out. I think the old fashion type is better leh. Just my opinion.
