Mighty_Angel 0 Report post Posted August 24, 2009 I have hacked off a wall to merge 2 rooms into one big master room 5 years ago. But in the near future intend to build up that wall (contrete wall) to build it back into 2 rooms. Any idea how much will it cost to build a concrete wall ? And now room is covered by laminate flooring, do i need to rip off the entire room's laminate flooring just to build the wall?

You can build a wardrobe to cover or using solid plywood for replacement. For building a brick wall, u need not to rip off yr entire bedroom, only the stretch for the wall area will do. Mighty_Angel 0 Report post Posted August 27, 2009 I will need to get a contractor to construct a wall in the near future once my daughter grows older and need her own room. Because now the 2 rooms is currently hack down into one big room. Hence will like to know what will be the estimated cost to construct a concrete wall to build it back into 2 seperate rooms + all the related works.
Chongchong 0 Report post Posted August 28, 2009 You can take this as an estimation. I wanted to build a half wall half glass type of study room. So I got this half wall quote from the ID. To supply labour & material to build L3400*1200mm (11.15ft * 3.93ft) half wall c/w sand & cement & hollow block S$600. If full wall, I guess easily should be S$1200? In fact, the ID will advise me full wall quote next week and I can share with you again. Think contractor price should be lower than S$1200 for a wall. Hope this help a little.
