YUKON 0 Report post Posted August 23, 2009 hello guys, newbie here. just got a resale double storey old HUDC maisonette... am wondering how much would it cost to get a electrician to install a hanging light that is 2stroey high? we need one at the centre of our 'almost spiral' stairs. also, if anyone got a similar lighting... pls share any pros and cons of such lighting. thanks! santav 0 Report post Posted August 24, 2009 well...lets hope your installer has a long enough ladder to do the installation safely.....if not.....they may ask for scaffold to be erected and that's gonna cost you......

vermilion 0 Report post Posted October 30, 2009 went to balestier showroom, a salesman told me the same thing, it will cost like $300 to install such lights, esp if its spiral staircase. also... he has advised me about maintenance... how to clean the lights if its chrome or crystal? and change light bulbs ourselves? so i have given up installing this kind of lights above my spiral staircase
