momiji 0 Report post Posted December 18, 2012 Hi Tiler Seng, can I ask for your professional advise..after the tiler has completed the tiling work, are we suppose to check the work of the tiles? how to check? My contractor's workers have completed the tile and as we need to do plastering for the wall, they immediately laid the cupboard paper. Is this a common practice or should we check first? What should we check? What the common problems to look out for? I am not sure if the contractor is doing the right thing. Appreciate your advise. Thanks!

Thanks! This is usual to cover up after tile to avoid stained to grouting, usually the site supervisor should let the owner check before it being covered, well, let them finished off the rest of the job and get the floor washed, it is easier for you to check the defect after all.
