Tiler Seng 57 Report post Posted February 18, 2019 Recent customer told me that they are interested in engaging me instead, they have looked for another two contractor in Renotalk as well, but the wife noticed they are not HDB licensed contractor. Yes, it is very important to buy insurance especially that you are about to pay a huge sum for Renovation. Here we are, we have: 1) HDB licensed (HD-02-3352B) I would like to say, we did not ever get a Demerit point from HDB yet for this licensed that we hold for 20 Years. 2) Casetrust accredited Renovation contractor, member of RCMA- we are a few of the reno company that recognised by Casetrust. 3) Bizsafe certified- Safety is our priority. 4) a group of Reno ID that has 20 Years of field experience waiting you to hire and we are very friendly….. No need to go around the world to look for ID contractor, just chat with Designer House for a piece of mind We can be contacted 24-7 but avoid 12am to 9am (we need to rest too )

AugustR 1 Report post Posted March 6, 2019 I found Ronald by reading renotalk T-blogs. I spoke to a two IDs and decided to entrust my renovation to Ronald for my first BTO flat. Why I decided to engaged him? ⦁ Licensed by HDB, case trust, etc. Thus, my hard earned money won't disappear into thin air. ⦁ He's straightforward, I was glad that I didn't have to face those made up excuses that other t-bloggers have mentioned (like how their contractors/IDs spin some fancy stories when there's a disagreement). ⦁ With his years of experience, he suggests appropriately to my needs. I have never felt pressurised, neither was there any hard sales tactics involved. ⦁ Completed within schedule. Although he's busy, he somehow manages to organise workers to get things done. Simply drop a reminder will do. ⦁ He was very approachable,I have texted on furnitures/electronics, and he replied with advice – important for first time home owners with no prior experience with all these big ticket purchases. ⦁ There was no packages gimmick. The IDs I visited had packages. But after after adding stuff into the packages, there's no real savings from the IDs. Ronld's quotation was competitive with other ID. My wife and I chose Ronald because he was more experienced and the quotation was realistic. ⦁ There was also no price shock during the renovation. I expected that after the first quotation and midst of renovating, there may be topping up of items. Prior to making any decisions, the prices are provided by Ronald so I could be mentally prepared on the expected cost. The revised quotation was accurate, and I didn't felt shortchanged.

Tiler Seng 57 Report post Posted March 13, 2019 Lighting are up on Carpentry work Silestone has been installed, waiting for window measurement over it, lights is cool white. Silestone- Dreis (Suede finish) is on Offer price i really like what we have chosen We have a Sensor night light under kitchen base, it will automatic light up when you walk into the kitchen This is the LED lights installing into the L box for Study area We went to a few shops everywhere in Singapore to source for Dining lights, This is what we found where we think isn't taking too much attention from the house Master Toilet vanity mirror, with upper and bottom lights, it definitely bright enough for your face. We are satisfied with the dresser design, again it has enough lights for the making up although the lady owner don't really like making herself up.
timas 1 Report post Posted March 24, 2019 (edited) Hi all, After searching through a few reno firms and comparing the various quotes, both my wife and I have just signed up with Ronald (“Tiler Seng”) in the early part of this week. We thought it will be nice to share why we have decided to proceed with Ronald based on our experiences. During last weekend, everything was done in a hassle less way with the tile design selections completed (with the aids of Ronald by the side) and measurements taken last weekend. What convinced us to sign up with Ronald though there are many renovating firms out there (with one being a very good friend of my wife) are, 1) When we first PM him over the forum, his response back is quick and responsive as compared to some of the firms which took a couple of days to revert. 2) Ronald is the only person who don’t chase us for an answer after sending the full quotation as compared to the other firms. We like this confident attitude and went to him instead. 3) His quote breakdowns are very detailed and transparent. Almost everything is detailed down based on the measurements (Example, 100sqf x $2= $200). This gave us a clear understanding of what we are paying for unlike some which have quoted an one lump sum. 4) After explaining our tight budget, he recommends only genuine items which are necessary. (We are even put down by him, is this necessary? This will only add up the costs). We are very appreciative on this as it’s easy to go “out of control” renovating our new house ? 5) Due to some special requirements of our family members, he’s very understanding and accommodating by putting by suggestions accordingly. With the above, we are glad that we have decided to sign up with him and the start-up experience has been very pleasant so far and hope that the reno works will go on smoothly as well. Tiler Seng 57 Report post Posted March 25, 2019 Who said Oven and cooker have to align with one another? Myself did make a mistake of drawing them together for the passed half a century, because i'm not a cooked person. Until one day i had a conversation with my client, and we both think they should be apart because you should not cook while using the oven, it is HOT!!! You can see from my recent work, all oven and cooker aren't together, and my client felt blessing Just like my invention on inner concrete support that is been widely used in Singapore by all contractors and IDs, in future if i ever see this cooker/oven thing in magazine, i will be happy that my idea has wisely separate again

Above Owner from Bukit Batok BTO invited us for Photo Taking which just nice it's our Designer House 20 Years anniversary, i hereby thanks all forumer for letting me have a chance to perform and i would like to say i really like this job We have a Polished Grey Homogeneous floor Tiles from Lian Seng Hin, with white colour tile skirting, wall painted in light Grey and curtain with a Black cool soft day curtain on it. Owner has suggested a Shoe cabinet with Altar unit, we believed Marble effect Laminate does go well with the Solid Grey flooring, and have added a dark brown leather finish for the top to enhance, you may realize that the leather top has a very thin layer that make it looks sharp, not the usual 40mm thickness type. Kitchen light switch has relocated to the cabinet for easy access. Dining Hall is a Romantic Corner for the young couple, it linked well with the Dresser Table in MBR MBR has divided into two part by a standalone wardrobe, because the young couple may work in different shift, the partner do not want to be disturb, hence a cozy Dresser corner is created, the Bathroom is just beside it and they are ready to dress up for work without disturbing the sleeping one. We have designed the colour of the wardrobe and dresser to be in very dark walnut, ad has integrated a Red Bronze trimming into the wardrobe door so that it appear a luxury feel, with the warm LED lighting on the mirror and hidden in the wardrobe cove, i think it has a Hotel lobby feel.... and the Grey Marble effect floor tiles is highlighted The Bed area has its own LED light switch on top of the wardrobe separated from Dresser side, You will also realized that there are two open shelf at both area, because the wardrobe has a depth of 650mm, we made use of it to create a back to back open shelf for both area which is very clever. i personally like the colour combination of their Kitchen cabinet, we have a special laminate with WWW design, pearl colour on the top part, Bottom is light brown, solid top using Caesarstone, wall panel using Marble effect Admira fire rated board. They Bought Bosch Induction Cooker Overall, the Colour combination for this project are perfect, and the couple spend $47K in Total including aircon and all appliances
