tuababy 0 Report post Posted September 17, 2009 I too got quoted slightly more then $10k from Classic. Thanks to tuababy's advise, I realised I can cut some cost by getting a third party for the solid surface. Hence I most probably will go this route. I believe Classic's workmanship should be good as my previous experience was quite good. If you need contact for a granite top supplier, do PM me.
tuababy 0 Report post Posted September 17, 2009 If I did not remember wrongly, my quote for the cabinet alone is already around 8k and after the solid top and the backsplash glass, it is already close to 10k. Told my hubby thats too much for a kitchen especially when i don't do heavy cooking. so got to go for a cheaper one lor...haha.....let's see how long can the kitchen from my ID last me. cos my last time Classic kitchen real good, 5 years still as good as new...lolz Their workmanship is really good. First time feel and touch their cabinets, we were so impressed. Just so happy that they had a promotion that time and it was a colour that we liked as well. I think as long as you take good care of your current kitchen, it should be quite lasting.

dyleen 0 Report post Posted September 17, 2009 Yup, the maroon and grey colours were on promotion that time. It costs $4k+ as we only did a L-shaped kitchen as we hacked down the wall adjacent to the living room, so there were less carpentry works. Also that price didn't include the granite top that would have costs almost $2k if we got it from them. Think your $8k+ quotation includes the granite or solid top and your total cabinet length is longer right? tuababy 0 Report post Posted September 17, 2009 (edited) if I'm not wrong, your color was the promotional price right? cos when i wanted white, and it wasn't on promotion, I was quoted about 8k+ for my cabinets le. Thats why we gave it a miss. Yup, the maroon and grey colours were on promotion that time.
