well... the rug is quite cheap.. so not so heartpain I guess if anything shd spill on it. *fingers cross*

We didn't get the wet and dry vacuum cleaner. Too many things we want to buy already... HAha... Tuababy just said yesterday that I have a lot of things I want to buy and a lot of places I want to go... He STRESS liao.. this wife is high maintenance!

Anyway.. I think if rug is dirty.. can send to the laundry at Fernvale point.... If you want to get rug.. get a darker colour.. White or light colours is a lot of WORK!

i like your rug, and my hubby went to that warehouse and saw the same piece of rug, we also thought of buying and putting under the dining table. But actually our dining table will not be fix because when our families came over for dinner we will have to shift the dining table out. So i think putting that rug is not practical.

i also thought of putting rug under my dining area but i'm scared off those sauces or food dropping onto the rug. Did you get a 'water' vacumm cleaner?

Guess the baby family hasn't been updating much.

Our camara with my sis who took it to Japan so have to wait till she's back to post some photos of new addition to our home.

Got some simple storage system from Ikea. Tuababy is building them up. Jia You! Once the shelfs are up.. then our unpacking can continue.

We got a new rug for our living room. More bling bling so the other one we got from the Rug warehouse sale has gone under the dining table. Looks quite nice so we will leave it there.

Hope to go to the nursery tomorrow to get some plants. The house lacks the freshness of plants.

Okie... a picture speaks more than I can typed so hopefully next week we have pictures to share.

yah... at 1st i log on to check on my "My hdb page" also... thats y i find it strange, thinking how come no permit shown on the hdb site for my unit, then i decided to call up hdb to check personally. To my horror, they told me they have not received any application for my unit!

i have already told my id abt what the hdb officer told me.. he insists he got applied permit for me.. so anyway, i shall just give him the benefit of the doubt this time and hope he can regain my trust as we move on...

You need less than a week to get approval, longer if hacking requires a PE. I think he should reapply for you again with HDB, can't be waiting like that...

Hi Greenpeace,

You can check whether your contractor have apply the permit via 'MyHDB' page. All our hdb permits will be inside with the details.

Hope everything goes smoothly for you. :)

ya i tot it would be a simple process but dunno what the hack is wrong with my contractor.. i wanted to hack my kitchen wall, thats it, simple!!

i checked with hdb personally, they said they NEVER received any application for my unit AT ALL.. yet, my contractor keep insisting they did submit but got rejected only.

I just hope things will get better as we move on..

Bro, I suggest you inform your contractor that you have checked with HDB directly and they haven't received the application. It's a very simple process. Ask them to reapply in that case. Don't let your contractor play you out and delay your renovations any further.
