But Supreme is made in china & mal. I am very concern about formaldehyde emission & safety of my family members. As everyone noted danger of china products. dannywmp 3 Report post Posted September 1, 2009 Hi, Thanks for all the reply. After much searching, enquiry and comparison, I finally decided to go Kronotex...Dynamic series (AC4) and I am going to put deposit tomorrow... The link for reference below... http://www.kronotex.com.sg/10001189.htm This is a made in Germany series and although did not have the so call life time warrenty from some other brand like Supreme and Volringar etc. but I seen their sample and very impress with the colour and finishing... Actually the so call lifetime warrenty is really redundent in my opinion...so far I don't think we will want to sick to a product for life time...moreover, I don't think it is that easy to claim such warrenty... btw...the most important is the pricing that I was quote by Kronotex direct and I think I got a rather good deal that even my Contractor can't match when he try to source for me the same series. I was quote less than $3.6K for 3 bedroom, living and dining room (4A) includes the following 1) hacking of existing skirting 2) Laminated skirting 3) triming of all affected wooden doors 4) foaming (4mm) 5) all wastage and GST. Although is around $700 more than what my contactor quote me for that ?? brand, Kronofix...but I think I is worth for a confirm Made in Germany product... btw...if anyone keen, I am glad to share the sale guy contact with you...his name is Wilson. A friendly guy that is not pushy to sell his product... last thing that I find it attractive is the interest free credit card payment of max 12 mths, I think using OCBC and DBS... Cheers... ossify 1 Report post Posted September 23, 2009 There was a time I also considered to use KronoTex. But I was told that Pergo is still the best, costs $6.90 psf for their Practiq range.

berion 0 Report post Posted October 19, 2009 I used kronofix - also heard from the sales girl that it is from belgium. But the service is very bad. The edges popped up after a few weeks. Pasted masking tapes on all the problem areas. About 60% of the laminates had masking tape on it. But their worker happily removed the tapes even though I told him not to. Apparently, once the tapes are removed, they see no problem with the laminates. Alvin, their CEO (as he calls himself) said that he couldn't see any problem with the floor, even though everyone, including my contractor could see the problem while standing over the laminates. He had to bend down, see from all angles, and still say that he couldn't see any problem. He had nothing to say when his worker removed the laminates and there were fungi all under them. Apparently, the cement screed was still wet when they laid the laminates. But the sales girl said that they acted on my contractor's instruction to lay the laminates, and they do not need to check if the cement screed is dry. Contractor say lay, they lay. Even if wet, they say they cannot detect. So much for professionalism. Arranged for them to remove everything and re-do it. But they kept me waiting for 3 days. Said they will come at 2pm. No sight of them until 5pm. Until then, too late to do. Same scenario for 3 days. Reason was because there were problems at their 1st destination, or they "holland" from Boon Lay to Johor. Asked them to arrange for mine to be their first destination, they refused to. In the end, even my contractor can't stand them and arrange for me to use kronotex. In short, terrible service is an understatement.
Butterfly88 0 Report post Posted November 2, 2009 There was a time I also considered to use KronoTex. But I was told that Pergo is still the best, costs $6.90 psf for their Practiq range. You should go get it from Floor Option... They are having promotion for Practiq Collection at 10% off! Just accompany my friend to their showroom last week. Very nice showroom, impress! Pergo Family is selling at $3.99p.s.f too! Pergo is a more realiable brand with best quality. Because my own place used them too. Last weekend too free... We have done a experiment, I soak most of the Laminate Flooring brand available in the market in a water. GUESS WAT! Most of them SWELL within 15mins! BUT PERGO product did not swell at all... I continue to soak it for 10hrs... After 10Hours Result! - OTHER BRAND.. Swell like crazy - Pergo & Robina - can't see any swell... So my friend have decide to use PERGO... Practiq also... getting them to do site measurement this weekend!
