I never seen any aircon servicing company that charge like this as a package. If in your friend case he might have to be charge separately. Per Aircon - $30 - $38 (Normal Servicing only-Vacuum clean your aircon, wash your filter, clean your aircon casing) Per Compressor - Not so sure whether have normal servicing. If chemical wash i know is about $120 per compressor. So if your friend got 6 Aircon unit : 38 * 6 = $228. 2 compressor unit : 120 * 2 = $240 Estimated Total Cost : $468. Might as well DIY would be cheaper. If your friend really want, he could go gain city to get the voucher for servicing his aircon. Call them and check out their price. kelvingian 0 Report post Posted September 2, 2009 my contractor charged me $35 for first unit and $25 for subsequent unit for general servicing. for chemical cleaning its $90 for first unit and $80 for subsequent unit. u want his contact ? regards, kelv. key_word07 0 Report post Posted November 9, 2009 (edited) I realise that recently there are some noise coming out from my compressor unit whenever we switch on the air con. The sound comes and goes. Mine is 3 In 1 Unit. It is not a very loud disturbing noise...but i worry it may become louder if we don't do anything about it... Any idea what's wrong with my compressor?? What kind of servicing is needed usually for condenser & usually how much does it cost??? Any expert advise please??
