Can't seem to paste the photos even when they are 'shrunk' to 180K in total! Will figure a way to share the photos tomo...as the deteriorating condition of the bed is beyond belef!

To add on to those who had bad product and after sales experience with Cellini in the past, let my photos below do the talking. Before that, some basic info:

1) Took delivery of the products (sofa, bed and lounge set) in Feb 2011 and problems never ceaseed since Feb 2011. I will only talk about the bed as its damage is the worst and most visible;

2) I was very suspicious that the delivery men were very easger to get me out of the bedroom when they were setting up the bed frame. I soon realsied some of the boards used to support the mttress were cracked and/or discoloured. I complained to Celliniand they were replaced in a few days' time but the replacement was not 'good' still but I figured they are placed below the mattress, so didn’t pursue the matter further. A mistake I soon regret.

3) Let's jump the time to 8-9 months later, molds that can not be cleaned begain to appear on my PVC bed from Cellini. I emailed Cellini and was told via phone (very smart of them for not commtting themself on email) that they would be happy to offer a replacement bed, but due to stock issue and the neeed to verify my purchase order (it’s also my fault that I took a few weeks to locate my Cellini invoice), they didn’t reply to my subsequent emails about the replacement bed and soon the warranty is no longer valid as well;

4) The moldy bed frame is deterioting in such an unhygenic stage that I emailed them again in late 2014/early 2015 and indicating I would like to share the photos of the life cycle of their product in 2.5 years time with this online community. They again responded and offered to let me have a replacement bed at minum cost since the bed is no longer under warranty. To cut the long story short, the “token sum” for a replacment bed is between $500 and $650; which I readily refused as I might as well buy a brand new one at Ikea for that price, without any obligation to keep my mouth shut, and also be ensured of a better quality bed than Cellini.

5) Naturally, Cellini implied that I failed to take care of the bed to arrive at that appaling condition. The matter of the fact: 1) I had informed Cellini that the mold couldn’t be cleaned in late 2011 ; 2) the bed is placed indoor in an air-cond room/; 3) even cheap $200 bed would not transform into a giant mold ball in 2-3 years under the Singapore weather.. Or is this a standard degrading process of a branded PVC bed?

Hi friends78,

Don't think it's their fault though. Bought a living room package in fabric 4-5 yrs ago,, condition still very good. My parents recommended coz they bought furniture from them long ago, quite a reputable s'pore Co. I must say its value for $. Actually looking at their bed + mattress offer last wkend .

The peeling problem seems to a material problem , I have some handbags and shoes peeling too. My friend in the fashion biz told me that this PU material was developed to replace PVC coz it's environmental friendly unlike PVC that is not bio-degradable. Can't put the fault all on them since they r probably a victim too , not knowing the effects until after a few yrs.

Will still consider their Sand bed. $880 w mattress. Very gd deal but may top up for the latex top. Gd mattress is very important . Anyone have their Grand Castle? Like some tips whether to take their free orthopedic or upgrade to grand Castle.

My sofa started to peel off last mth. Only 2 yrs old! They offered no solution and even asked me to pay $1k to do upholstery! No more Cellini for me too!

anyone still have bad experience with Celini?? saw their package quite nice leh....quite like their design but this thread make me undecided...

Updates! They had delivered the furnitures again yesterday. Thank goodness to my prayers answered. The furnitures were ok. The metal brackets and connectors for the drawers and tables were not rusty. (they were all rusty on the first time and when we reject, the prc delivery guy say cannot reject. They only accept our rejection after we call the shop at loyang)

I had lost my confidence with Cellini and will nv buy from them again. My package costs me close to 5k and I'm disappointed with the service rendered, esp their customer service officer, Peter. He was inpatient and contradicting every time I ask him qn regarding the furniture exchange.

Utterly disappointed with them.

Ya, registered to share my horrible experience. 1st time buyer.

@franciz... 6k?? their current promo with bean bag is only 4k right?. what did you top up that cost you another 2k?

@ Mermaid.. im sorry to hear that... how is it now? have they changed a brand new sofa to you? if not, then what do you do with the sofa? and which branch did you go?

I have not bought from them but talked to the sales staff on the Flow series. Very likely getting from them soon. So far, no problems with the staff.

I've cfmd with them a pkg tat stretched to 6k for bed frame + mattress & sofa.

Served by Vincent when he was at tradehub, now he is at IFC.

I have not bought from them but talked to the sales staff on the Flow series. Very likely getting from them soon. So far, no problems with the staff.

Cellini sucks! Service cannot make it! Furnitures are not delivered as promised! Furnitures look old and mouldy. Still dare to say they didn't know cos all were packed and only opened at customer's hse! Bull ****!

Delivery man rude++! Customer service is inpatient and just trying to brush u off ASAP! We will nv buy from them! Not worth the price for that kinda service!

can anyone else share their experience with celine? I would still think that their offer is good...

I am new here and really know nothing about furniture... is there any other brand that anyone can recommend with the same price range as celini? thanks in advance.
